Both the teams went toe to toe in a nail-biting clash.

Jamshedpur FC became the winners of League Winners' Shield of the Indian Super League (ISL) and finished the league stages at the top of the table with a  gritty 1-0 win over ATK Mohun Bagan. A goal from Ritwik Kumar Das in the 57th minute was the only one that separated the two sides, with the win ensuring not just a top-spot finish but also ensuring their place in the playoffs for the coveted AFC Champions League spot.

Here are the player ratings for the game.

ATK Mohun Bagan (By Uttiyo Sarkar)

Amrinder Singh – 6.0

Amrinder made a few sharp saves to deny Jamshedpur FC, but couldn’t really do much about Ritwik’s shot that came through a crowd of bodies.

Pritam Kotal -  4.5

Troubled by the menacing Ritwik and got outwitted by him multiple times. Almost gifted him a goal by a poor giveaway in the first half and failed to block the shot leading to his goal. Taken off quickly after.

Sandesh Jhingan – 6.5

Jhingan did a pretty solid job dealing with the physical Chima, not allowing him much freedom in the attack. Worked hard all game long, but was caught out of position and unable to block Ritwik’s game-winning goal.

Tiri – 5.5

The Spanish defender moved the ball forward efficiently to help his side setup chances. Blocked some shots, but was caught reeling and all over the place in the move leading to the goal.

Subhasish Bose – 5.5

Bose did a good job dealing with Len Doungel, but was underwhelming going forward. Was unable to link-up properly with Liston to create anything noteworthy.

Carl McHugh – 6.0

Got the most touches among any player in the first half, experimenting with his distribution and creating some nice moves. Kept Stewart in check, but taken off quickly in the second half for Williams.

Lenny Rodrigues – 5.5

Lenny did well to help move the ball around in midfield, but wasn't that efficient in protecting his backline. Slipped up around his area before Ritwik’s goal.

Manvir Singh – 3.0

Again very isolated on the right wing and failed to properly get into the game, not creating anything or getting shots on goal.

Joni Kauko – 5.5

Kauko tried to be ATK Mohun Bagan’s focal point in the attack and even created some decent chances with smart passes. But, was frustrated by Jamshedpur FC players' man-marking and clattering him with tackles, stopping him from gaining control or influencing goals. Struck a late equalizer attempt over.

Liston Colaco – 7.0

Liston was an absolute tormenting factor on the wings, causing Renthlei huge problems. Made some darting runs into the box to setup a number of big chances, but not able to test the keeper himself.

Roy Krishna – 4.0

Krishna couldn’t get the better of Hartley or Sabia, struggling to get anything past them. He was unable to create anything big or test the keeper, getting multiple shots blocked by Jamshedpur FC players.

Substitutes

David Williams – 6.0

Troubled Jamshedpur FC with his clever movement and took a few ambitious shots on goal, seeing one superb attempt saved really well in the second half.

Prabir Das – 5.5

Couldn’t really do much noteworthy in the attack after coming on, but made a key goal-saving block towards the end.

Ashutosh Mehta – N/A

Unable to do much with his crosses or with his efforts from the central areas after coming on.

Kiyan Nassiri – N/A

Came on too late to make any impact.

Jamshedpur FC (By JN Balraj)

Rehnesh TP (GK) - 7,0

The custodian redeemed himself after committing an error which would’ve been a goal. Rehnesh made three saves and punched the ball once. He made a clearance too.

Laldinliana Renthlei - 7.0

The former Chennaiyin full-back did well against Liston Colaco on the defensive right flank. Dinliana made four clearances and two tackles before being substituted at half-time.

Eli Sabia - 7.5

The towering Brazilian was a lively presence in the centre of the defence. Eli made four clearances, two tackles and interceptions. He won four of his five duels and blocked a shot too.

Peter Hartley - 8.0

The Captain made a clearance with his head after TP’s error which certainly proved to be the moment of the game. He made four clearances, two tackles and interceptions each.

Ricky Lallawmawma - 6.0

The full-back struggled against the pace of Manvir and needed support from the captain. Ricky made a clearance and two interceptions.

Pronay Halder - 6.0

On loan from ATK Mohun Bagan, Pronay was booked in the initial minutes for a reckless challenge on Manvir. He made two clearances, interceptions and tackles each in the game.

Jitendra Singh - 6.5

The young midfielder delivered a livewire performance on his return. Jitendra played 13 passes and was involved in nine duels to make his mark.

Boris Singh - 6.5

The youngster was a real threat on the right side of the pitch with his pace. He delivered a clinical low cross in the first attack of the team. Boris picked up a knock and left the field after just 20 minutes.

Ritwik Das - 8.5

The wing-forward was posing threats constantly with his dribbles. Ritwik eventually broke the deadlock with a clinical finish in the corner.

Greg Stewart - 6.5

Greg had a below-par performance because of a lack of support upfront. He created one chance, had one shot on target and completed two successful dribbles. The Scot also won six duels and made one tackle.

Daniel Chima - 6.5

The Nigerian striker did not get the supply as before owing to the defensive approach by the team. He contributed defensively with three clearances and one tackle.

Substitutes

Seiminlen Doungel - 6.5

The seasoned winger looked good on the right flank. He won three ground duels and made three tackles.

PC Dinpuia - 7.0

The defender replaced Dinliana and kept ATK Mohun Bagan attackers at bay. Dinpuia made three interceptions and five tackles.

Jordan Murray - 6

The Australian striker was brought in to kill time with his cheeky skills.

Alex Lima - N/A

Came on for the final eight minutes and made just eight touches on the ball.

Sandip Mandi - N/A

He came on tie 82nd minute, but did all the running without getting on the ball even once.
