The match also became Roy Krishna's 50th game ever in the ISL.
ATK Mohun Bagan played out a thrilling 3-3 draw against Bengaluru FC in the Indian Super League (ISL) on Thursday. The Mariners initially took the lead in the 13th minute, when Subhasish Bose smartly scored a header from a corner. But, the Blues hit back, scoring through Cleiton Silva’s penalty in the 18th minute and Danish Farooq’s header in the 26th to take a 2-1 lead.
However, the Mariners refused to go down and scored two more goals – via Hugo Boumous in the 38th minute and Roy Krishna in the 58th minute to take a crucial 3-2 lead. Just when it looked like ATKMB had the game won, Prince Ibara scored from a corner in the 72nd minute to ensure the points were shared. Here are our player ratings for the game:
Bengaluru FC (by Ujyant Ramesh)
Gurpreet Singh Sandhu- 5.5
Had a butterfingers moment in the 7th minute however, Roy Krishna was caught offside. Apart from that, he had a decent performance and made two saves in the game.
Ajith Kumar- 5.5
Struggled quite a lot in defence and gave up too much space. He also had a hard time dealing with long balls and therefore, felt like a liability in the backline.

Parag Shrivas- 6.0
The Bengaluru FC defender made some clean tackles inside the box to neutralize the attacking threats from ATK Mohun Bagan. He also completed the most passes in the game (27).
Alan Costa- 5.5
Delivered a sloppy pass in the 11th minute which Roy Krishna almost capitalized on, but he shot it straight at Gurpreet. Apart from that as well, alongside Ajith Kumar, the duo felt like the weakest link for the Blues.
Naorem Roshan Singh- 7.0
Took a decent free-kick in the very first minute, but was saved by Amrinder Singh. Apart from that, he also did deliver some good balls from corners throughout, with one finally connecting for a goal via Prince Ibara's header in the 72nd minute.
Danish Farooq- 7.0
Scored his first ISL goal in spectacular fashion — with a header off of Cleiton Silva's corner from the right in the 26th minute. Looked really bright in midfield yet again.
Bruno Ramires- 5.5
Could've done better in his set-piece defending — covering Subhasish's headed goal in the 13th minute. Alongside, he did try and make some interceptions, but looked a bit unnecessarily harsh in his approach to the same. Nonetheless, he did have the most tackles in the game (5).
Jayesh Rane- 5.0
Went forward at times and tried his luck in attack, such as that one shot off Ashique Kuruniyan's ball right from the middle. However, he was subbed off in the 77th minute for Rohit Kumar.
Prince Ibara- 7.5
Similar to last game, he made some good runs towards the box and even won a free-kick from just outside it in the 23rd minute.
However, he conceded the penalty leading to Roy Krishna's goal in the 58th minute — only to redeem himself with a headed equalizer in the 72nd minute. Overall, the Bengaluru FC forward posed a major attacking threat against ATK Mohun Bagan.
Ashique Kuruniyan- 7.0
Was switched to a left wing position. Proved his worth right from the start, delivering a brilliant cross to Cleiton Silva, who headed it just over the crossbar. Since that moment, he was great in his ball control, won duels and setup some vital attacks via his runs into the final third.

Cleiton Silva - 8.0
Won the penalty and scored the first equalizer in a calm and composed manner. Once again, the Brazillian created chances for himself and had multiple opportunities. Also got an assist for Danish Farooq's brilliant header in the 26th minute.
Substitutes
Rohit Kumar- 5.5
Came on in place of Jayesh Rane in the 76th minute.
Udanta Singh- 6.0
Replaced Ashique Kuruniyan on the left wing in the 81st minute.
Sunil Chhetri- N/A
The skipper was benched today and only came on as a late substitute for Cleiton Silva in the 84th minute.
Pratik Chaudhari- N/A
Yet another late substitute who came on for Ajith Kumar in the 84th minute, in what looked like Marco's attempt to defend set-pieces late into the game.
ATK Mohun Bagan (by Uttiyo Sarkar)
Amrinder Singh- 5.0
Not strong enough to try and deny BFC’s set-piece goals, being left rooted to his spot. Made a great save to deny Prince a potential winner late on.
Ashutosh Mehta- 3.0
Absolutely rinsed by Ashique on the wings, failing to deal with his tricky and pace. Lost mark of Prince for his strike and extremely ineffective going forward too.

Pritam Kotal- 4.0
Too overzealous or over-committed with his challenges. Made silly little errors that invited pressure and very sloppy in possession. The ATK Mohun Bagan defender to protect his backline from the Bengaluru FC onslaught.
Tiri- 5.5
Did relatively well to keep Cleiton quiet in open play, matching his moves to make some crucial challenges. Surprisingly sloppy with his distribution again.
Subhasish Bose- 6.5
Scored his first of the season with a brilliant flick past Gurpreet. Won the penalty before Krishna’s goal. Arguably, ATKMB’s best defender, keeping things relatively quiet on his side and making clutch challenges.
Manvir Singh - 3.0
Again ineffective on the right wing. Failed to create anything prominent and messed up some moves with sloppy distribution. Shouldn’t be played in that role again.
Deepak Tangri- 4.0
The young midfielder was often overwhelmed in his defensive midfield role, often getting wrong-footed by the opposition midfielders. Made some sloppy errors to invite trouble and his distribution was disappointing.
Joni Kauko- 7.0
Kauko was a bulldozer in midfield, making timely interceptions to trigger counter-attacks. Made three tackles and four interceptions!
Started the move leading to Boumous’ strike. Full of energy and creativity, recovering possession and creating some nice moves.
Liston Colaco - 4.5
Colaco made some exciting forward runs, dribbling past bodies with ease. But, unable to do much in the final third, failing to create chances or properly test the goalkeeper. His final product was underwhelming in this one.

Hugo Boumous- 7.5
Boumous is back firing after a short drought. Setup the opener with a nice set-piece and then finished off an electric counter-attack by smartly slotting past Gurpreet. Menacing with his movement and set-piece delivery, creating some great chances.
Roy Krishna- 7.0
The Fijian got his second assist in as many games with a clever pass to setup Boumous’ strike. Scored his penalty really well to end the mini goal drought.
Clever with his movement and link-up play upfront to cause big trouble to the defenders, but his teammates weren’t as sharp.
Substitutes
David Williams- N/A
Surprisingly benched against his favorite ISL opponents and not so ineffective in his late cameo, failing to get any shots at goal.
Prabir Das- N/A
Defensively better than Ashutosh and made a great goal-line clearance in the end.
