This was the Yellow Army's second draw in a row.

Bengaluru FC and Kerala Blasters locked horns earlier this evening in the Indian Super League, with the game finally being held to a draw. While both sides did have their fair share of chances in the first half, the goals finally came only in the second half -- and it was Ashique Kuruniyan who scored at both ends. Despite the scoreline though, the game did have several moments of both individual as well as team mistakes and brilliance.

Here are the player ratings for tonight's game:

Bengaluru FC (by Ujyant Ramesh)

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu- 6.5

Gurpreet had a much better performance compared to his last game. Had a good presence of mind in collecting loose balls to neutralize the Yellow Army’s attacks.

Naorem Roshan Singh- 6.0

Roshan assisted Ashique's goal in the 84th minute. He also won multiple duels at the back. But, wasn’t at his best as a wing-back -- at least when compared to the previous game.

Pratik Chaudhari- 6.0

Played in place of Yrondu Musavu-King tonight. Picked up an early yellow and did make some sloppy passes early on. However, he did have a slightly better game later on.

Alan Costa- 7.5

Alan Costa was solid at the back and made some vital interceptions alongside Bruno Ramires who operated as a defensive midfielder. Delivered some good balls to his frontline. Neutralized multiple KBFC efforts and felt like the best Blue tonight.

Ashique Kuruniyan- 6.5

A mixed performance from the 24-year-old to summarize it. Scored the goal for Bengaluru FC in the 84th minute after an unfortunate butterfingers moment by Kerala Blasters goalkeeper Albino Gomes.

However, he also scored at the other end tonight. Overall, was quite active on the flank and also made some efforts inside the box defending such particularly for Adrian Luna's efforts.

Iman Basafa- 7.0

Iman Basafa started in place of the injured Jayesh Rane. Had the highest pass accuracy (83%) for the Blues in midfield. Was also decent defensively, but could’ve played a more offensive role and helped in creating chances for the frontline.

Bruno Ramires- 6.5

Delivered a good defensive performance alongside Alan Costa and made some important tackles both on the halfway line and inside the box. Won five duels and made five overall recoveries.

Suresh Wangjam- 6.0

Was good with his first touch. But, he did lose the ball multiple times in midfield.

Udanta Singh- 7.0

Udanta Singh was pacey on the right yet again delivering multiple crosses to Chhetri and Cleiton. However, he missed a great opportunity in the 55th minute (from Cleiton’s cross) in what looked like one of the better chances for the Blues.

Cleiton Silva- 7.5

Cleiton brought with him the required attacking creativity for the Blues right from the beginning. His pace and run-ins inside the box caused some problems for Kerala’s defence. Also had multiple half chances and was therefore the biggest offensive threat for the Blues.

Sunil Chhetri- 6.0

The skipper still hasn’t been himself lately and today was yet another example of the same. While he was marginally better with an 89% accuracy and a few attempts inside the box early on, he was replaced by Prince Ibara at the one hour mark.

Substitutes:

Danish Farooq- 6.0

Danish Farooq came on in place of Iman Basafa. Won four overall duels.

Prince Ibara- 6.5

Prince Ibara came on in place of skipper Sunil Chhetri. Took a good shot in the 79th minute from a tight angle but it was neutralized by Albino Gomes' in a brilliant keeping effort.

Sivasakthi Narayanan- 6.0

Sivasakathi Narayanan came on in place of Udanta Singh in the 76th minute to make his ISL debut.

Kerala Blasters (by Kaushik Viswanath)

Albino Gomes- 5.5

The Blasters’ shot-stopper had the best of both worlds. He made a point-blank save off a shot from Cleiton Silva, but eventually spilled the shot of Ashique Kuruniyan to give Bengaluru the lead.

Jessel Carneiro- 6.0

Led from the front with two tackles and eight clearances. Had the most touches of any Kerala Blasters’ player with 55.

Enes Sipovic- 6.0

Once again, gave it everything. 10 clearances, one interception and two fouls suffered show the effort that the hard-hitting Bosnian put in.

Marko Leskovic- 7.0

Put in a good performance at centre-back with Enes Sipovic, making three clearances and keeping the Bengaluru attackers at bay. It was his shot that led to Kuruniyan smashing the ball into his net and salvaged a point for Kerala Blasters.

Harmanjot Khabra- 6.5

Was one of Kerala’s best players on the night. Put in a complete defensive performance, winning four successful tackles, four interceptions and three clearances.

Vincy Baretto- 5.0

Did show glimpses of himself, but couldn’t inspire his side forward. Completed three successful tackles. He was taken off in the 65th minute for Prashanth Karuthadathkuni.

Jeakson Singh- 6.0

Put in a wholehearted performance in midfield for the Blasters, winning four tackles and interceptions. He completed the joint most number of passes (24) with an accuracy rate of 86%.

Lalthathanga Khawlhring- 6.0

Was taken off in the final minutes, but combined well with Jeakson. Completed 65% of his passes and chipped in with two tackles and an interception.

Sahal Abdul Samad- 5.5

Showed glimpses of his quality, but often drifted out of space, becoming isolated and making life difficult for himself and his teammates. Was taken off in the 70th minute by Ivan Vukomanovic.

Adrian Luna- 6.0

Had the second-most touches among all Blasters players with 54, but completed only 65% of his passes. Wasn’t at his usual best and was taken off in the final minute of the game.

Alvaro Vasquez- 5.0

Couldn’t inspire Kerala Blasters to a win against Bengaluru FC. Didn’t have a lot to do, completing only 62% of his passes, He went largely unnoticed throughout the game and was replaced by Jorge Diaz in the 70th minute.

Came on in the 70th minute for Sahal Abdul Samad, but didn’t have a lot to contribute other than four successful passes and one clearance.

Ayush Adhikari- 4.0

Came on in the 95th minute for Chencho Gyeltshen and didn’t have a lot to do in the solitary minute he got to play.

Jorge Pereyra Diaz- 4.0

Came on in the 70th minute for Alvaro Vasquez as part of a double substitution, but didn’t fare any better than Vasquez as he couldn’t even muster up a shot on target.

Prasanth Karuthadathkuni- 5.0

Came on in the 65th minute for Vincy Baretto. Improved the right side for the Blasters. He completed 100% of his passes and also created one chance.

Chencho Gyeltshen- 4.0

Came on in the 95th minute along with Ayush Adhikari and similarly couldn’t contribute a lot.
