The Blues' head coach also revealed that Udanta Singh has been ruled out for Saturday's clash.
Bengaluru FC head coach Marco Pezzaiuoli remained upbeat about his team and urged them to find the right rhythm as his side takes on FC Goa on matchday 26 of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 season on Saturday at the Athletic Stadium in Bambolim, Goa.
Pezzaiuoli admitted that the mood in the dressing room is positive after his team’s defeats in the last two matches and encouraged his players to improve on the attacking front to secure the desired three points. Ahead of the Blues' clash against FC Goa, the head coach addressed the media during a pre-match press conference.

Bengaluru FC have lost their previous two games. What’s your assessment of the team?
"The energy in the team is positive, but it doesn't help that we are not getting the results, especially since we are in a bubble. We are investing a lot but the important thing is the three points. In life, you don't feel good every day. You have a few bad days and that's the same in football. It's not easy to be at a high level for 90 minutes," Marco Pezzaiuoli began.
"We beat NorthEast United 4-2, and since then our opponents have had fewer chances in each game. Hyderabad had a half chance, and they scored. We had three or four chances and didn't. This is an area we have to work on. We need to improve to get more chances and score more goals. It's a team effort, and we're working towards it," he further added.
FC Goa haven’t been their best this season. What are your thoughts on that team?
"FC Goa didn't start well, but apart from their first few results, and their playing style it's very good. They showed a bit of weakness in their first few games, and we have to make the most of our chances," the BFC boss opined.

Is there a certain connection/link-up that’s been missing in your style of play?
"What we don't have is the points, but we do have our style of play. We reduced the chances of the opponents, we've created chances. What the team needs to improve is the style with the ball. I don't usually talk about players who aren't playing, but King [Yrondu Musavu] is a very important player we are missing. He is important to the way we play. I feel it already in the locker room and the meetings that there was a bit of sharpness missing, and that happens when you have games every two or three days, but we have to work to stay sharp," Pezzaiuoli explained.

The German-Italian also provided an update on the fitness of his players, with Udanta Singh, Yrondu Musavu-King, Iman Basafa and Prince Ibara having missed out on the Blues’ clash against Hyderabad FC.
“It’s very important to manage your players well when you are playing games every two or three days. We have had a lot of injuries to key players, but some of them are now back in contention for the game. While Udanta will not be a part of the team on Saturday, the others have recovered and I have them available for the next match,” Marco Pezzaiuoli concluded.
