Hyderabad FC (by Hari Thoyakkat)

Laxmikant Kattimani- 6.5

Made three saves, one of which was a crucial one in the final 10 minutes of the game. Saved his team from defeat, but should improve ball-distribution skills.

Asish Rai- 6.5

A subdued outing. Lost the ball too many times and also lost his cool on a couple of occasions. A good defensive game; can't say the same about his attacking.

Chinglensana Singh- 7.0

Played for the full 90 minutes, won all his duels. Made two clearances and one block, interception and tackle each.

Juanan Gonzalez- 7.0

Partnered well with Sana. Also won all his duels and made some good defensive contributions, but can improve passing.

Akash Mishra- 6.5

Not as effective as he is usually is on the left flank.

Hitesh Sharma- 7.0

Worked well in the double-pivot with Joao Victor. Impressive passing as proven by his accuracy (82%, 18 completed). Drew a couple of important fouls.

Joao Victor- 6.5

Not very effective but did enough to keep Hyderabad FC at bay, as they tested the FC Goa midfield and defence.

Nikhil Poojary- 7.5

One of the best players on the pitch. Operated well on the right flank for Hyderabad FC and overcame the challenge posed by Saviour Gama and Sanson Pereira.

Joel Chianese- 7.5

Scored HFC's only goal of the match. Drew a couple of important fouls. Can improve passing in the final third.

Rohit Danu- 6.5

Another player who had a subdued outing. Completed only 11 passes and was easily controlled by Seriton Fernandes on Hyderabad FC's left wing.

Bartholomew Ogbeche- 7.0

Usually he finds goals, today he didn't. But, he never gave up trying and completed the night with five shots. Lucky to escape with a yellow card only after he got into a verbal tussle with the referee

FC Goa (by Rajdeep Saha)

Dheeraj Singh- 7.5

Singh was aware of the game, made some important saves in the first half to keep the score goalless. In total, he made four important saves, and punched the ball away once. The young keeper was also brilliant in his ball collections when crosses would come into the box.

Mohamed Ali- 7.0

Ali was one of the best players on the pitch for FC Goa. He stood tall against the likes of Ogbeche. The defender, playing in a back three, won all of his aerial duels (five) Moreover, he had four blocked shots and five important clearances.

Ivan Gonzalez- 6.5

The right wing-back’s performance was below-par, apart from few shining moments. He lost the possession a total of 16 times, but completed two of his three crosses.

Princeton Rebello- 6.0

The midfielder was good only in his passing tonight. His ball retention was quite poor as he gave it away almost 20 times. His 77% passing accuracy takes his rating a little higher.

Edu Bedia- 6.5

Although Bedia was offensively absent, the skipper made sure to be a solid presence in the center of the midfield. He was an important bridge between the backline and the front three. Apart from his brilliant passing stats, he made four clearances and four interceptions.

Saviour Gama- 6.5

The left wing-back put in a good shift tonight. At times he was sloppy in his defensive duties, as he gave away three fouls, but the player made it up with his 82% passing accuracy.
