The Nizams recorded a second consecutive win by putting five past the Highlanders
Hyderabad FC humbled NorthEast United by a 5-1 scoreline in their latest Indian Super League 2021-22 encounter at the Athletic Stadium in Bambolim, Goa on Monday. Goals from Chinglensana Singh, Bartholomew Ogbeche (2), Aniket Jadhav and Javier Siverio ensured three points for Manolo Marquez's men. Laldanmawia Ralte scored for NEUFC, but the outfit suffered their second successive defeat in the league, raising several questions. Khalid Jamil is under a lot of pressure and must turn the situation around sooner rather than later.
The five-star performance from the Nizams was possible due to some fabulous individual performances from both Indian and foreign players. They had a better cohesion on the pitch than the opposition players, which was apparent with the scoreline at the end. Here is a look at the player ratings from HFC's win over NEUFC:
Hyderabad FC (by Waseem Zaidi)
Laxmikant Kattimani (GK)- 6.5
The custodian could not keep a clean-sheet, but did not make a lot of mistakes. He got a yellow card for time-wasting and made four saves to keep his team in the lead.
Asish Rai- 8.0
The right-back has been performing consistently well this season. Once again, he was absolutely everywhere, contributing to attack and defence. Rai made two clearances, three interceptions and three blocks, in addition to delivering five crosses for the attackers.

He had three tackles, three clearances and five interceptions, suggesting he played a key role in shutting the opposition out in the middle.
Nikhil Poojary- 6.0
Nikhil Poojary did not stand out with his performance, but played his role well in the grand scheme of things. He made three crosses into the box, but did not create a scoring chance. He was replaced by Aaren D’Silva in the 83rd minute.
Edu Garcia- 8.0
The Spaniard came back into the starting lineup and repaid the faith by delivering a great performance. He provided an assist and created two scoring chances. Garcia also had five shots on goal and 47 touches on the ball.
Rohit Danu- 6.5
Rohit Danu is slowly getting to terms with the quality needed to succeed at the top. The forward played 70 minutes, but had only 25 touches on the ball. He worked hard, but needs more composure on the ball.
Bartholomew Ogbeche- 9.5
The striker is slowly proving why he is one of the best foreign players to grace the ISL. Ogbeche scored an incredible brace with his left and right foot, helping the team to the three points.

NorthEast United FC (By Yash Pratap Singh)
Subhasish Roy Chowdhury- 2.0

He made overlapping runs, sent in pinpoint crosses, but was poor defensively and looked very weak. Joe also played many misplaced passes and gave away the ball in key positions.
Hernan Santana- 5.0

Imran Khan- 5.5
Imran played the entire game and looked the best player for the Highlanders. He completed majority of his passes, created chances and was also solid defensively. Moreover, he completed most of his dribbles and also won the ball in key positions.
Laldanmawia- 4.0
The winger was again poor with his passing precision, lost the ball in positions and was out-muscled many times. However, he scored the only goal for his side.
VP Suhair- 4.5
Suhair didn’t deliver the type of performance Khalid Jamil would have expected him to. He tried to complete his attacking moves and lost possession 20 times. He had two shots on target, but couldn’t make much of them.
Mathias Coureur- 3.5
The forward completed most of his passes including a key pass. However, he was mostly absent and looked restless every time NorthEast United initiated an attack.
