The towering Brazilian failed to hold his defence tight after his team took the lead. Eli made a mere three clearances and won a ground duel for his side.

Boris Singh - 6.5

The fiery winger attempted six crosses and completed one dribble. Boris won three ground duels and made two tackles. He hit the woodwork in the first minute of the game.

Jitendra Singh - 6.5

The youngster was a livewire in the midfield for Jamshedpur FC with his high work-rate. Singh made a clearance and two tackles. He also won two duels and attempted three long balls.

Pronay Halder - 7.0

Pronay again did his job quietly in the middle of the park. He made two clearances, three tackles and won important balls for his side. He also played a key pass and attempted six direct balls.

Ritwik Das - 8.0

The winger had his best outing in Jamshedpur FC coluors. Ritwik assisted the first goal with a beautiful back-heel to Stewart and scored the second himself. He also contributed in defence with two interceptions, two tackles and a clearance.

Greg Stewart - 9.0

The Scottish magician is now back among the goals with consecutive braces. Greg completed three dribbles and played two key passes in the final third. His calm and composed penalty in injury-time guaranteed three points for the team. Defensively, he made three clearances and a tackle.

Substitutes

Seiminlen Doungel - 6.0

Len made one tackle and won a duel to help his side maintain the defensive discipline. He had the chance to score, but lost his balance in the box.

Mobashir Rahman - 6.0

The local lad had six touches and played two passes in the limited minutes he got under his belt. Mobashir was also involved in two duels.

Jordan Murray - 6.5

The Australian almost killed the game with his creative balls in the dying minutes, if his teammates would’ve been more clinical.

Ishan Pandita - 6.0

Ishan did not get enough time and chances to make any impact statistically. He had two touches and was involved in as many duels.

Mumbai City FC (By Riddhiman Sarkar)

Mohammad Nawaz - 6.0

Was left rooted to the spot for both goals and dived the wrong way for Greg Stewart’s penalty. Made two saves from open play.

Rahul Bheke - 7.0

Started the second half with a goal to reduce the arrears and make up for an average performance in the first. Won all four of his aerial duels and got 51 touches on the ball.

Mourtada Fall - 6.0

Threatened the Jamshedpur FC defence marginally during set-pieces and got Mumbai City a penalty after being fouled by Peter Hartley in the box. Won only three out of his seven ground duels and three out of four of his aerial duels.

Mehtab Singh - 6.0

One of the more active and influential players for the Islanders, as he made a splendid last-ditch challenge to deny Chima a clear chance on goal. Very comfortable on the ball, as he completed 84% of his passes.

Mandar Rao Dessai - 5.5

Sub-par performance from the left-back in the first half, as he was at fault in the build-up to both goals conceded by Mumbai City. Substituted at half-time for Vignesh, with 34 touches on the ball and after losing both of his ground duels.

Lalengmawia - 7.0

Composed performance in the middle of the park, as the youngster showed maturity on and off the ball. Won all 11 of his ground duels and completed five of his nine attempted long balls.

Ahmed Jahouh - 6.0

Came off with an injury early in the first half. Accumulated only 17 touches before being replaced by Vinit Rai in the 19th minute.

Lallianzuala Chhangte - 6.5

Could not gather any end product, but was a sizeable threat on the right flank. Completed one of his two take-ons successfully.

Cassinho - 6.0

Dangerous in attack with his silky dribbling, but kept getting stranded by the relentless pressing of Jamshedpur players. Could only generate one tame shot on target for the entirety of the game.

Bipin Singh - 6.0

Could not retain his stellar form from the last game. Gave way to Vikram Pratap Singh in the 82nd minute, after none of his attempted crosses found their target and he only managed 27 touches on the ball.

Igor Angulo - 6.0

Not the best of evenings for the Spaniard, as he missed a penalty in the 69th minute and squandered the chance to get the Islanders back on level terms. Replaced by Diego Mauricio in the 81st minute after he had both of his shots on target saved.

Substitutes

Vinit Rai- 6.0

Had a rough 27 minutes on the pitch, as he looked unsettled and could not really fill the boots of the injured Jahouh. Came off for Brad Inman at half-time, with 35 touches on the ball and only a 77% passing accuracy.

Diego Mauricio- 7.0

Came off the bench and drew the Islanders level with an accurate penalty. Converted his only shot on target.

Brad Inman- 6.0

Meandered between the lines of Jamshedpur FC’s midfield and defence, but was not penetrative or decisive in any instance. Got 27 touches on the ball.

Vignesh- 6.0

Solid replacement for Mandar, but slipped when he gave away the deciding penalty after handling the ball in the box. Won all three of his ground duels and his only aerial duel but to no avail.

Vikram Pratap Singh- 6.0

A quiet evening for the young winger, as he got on the ball three times. Had a call for handball denied and went into the referee’s book later on.
