We play as a team, we lose as a team, says Owen Coyle after CFC defeat

The 55-year-old also opened up on reports of his team signing Ferran Corominas.
After a bright start to the campaign, Jamshedpur FC are seemingly off the track right now, with back-to-back draws, despite dominant performances. A win on Sunday, against Chennaiyin FC could have gotten them the second place on the Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 points' table. However, as it stands, Owen Coyle and Co. are in sixth place following the unexpected loss.
Jamshedpur FC began the game with some fiery attacking moves, but the lack of composure came back to haunt them later on. CFC's Lukasz Gikiewicz was completely unmarked ahead of breaking the deadlock with a header. At the other end, Greg Stewart failed to connect to a teasing cross from Jordan Murray just before half-time. Ishan Pandita and Murray too, missed some great chances which helped Chennaiyin get the win, ultimately.
After the match, Coyle spoke to the media in the post-match press conference. Here are the excerpts.

Individual errors that cost JFC
Jamshedpur FC have dropped points on a few occasions previously due to individual mistakes. Last night was no different, as they conceded a soft goal scored by a completely free Gikiewicz.
When asked if it is the time to make changes in JFC's playing XI, Owen Coyle said, "We play as a team and we lose as a team, so I don't like that's been phrased to try to blame one player. I never talk about one player, it's about the team. But, of course, we'll always look at everybody available. The most important thing is that we got enough (positives) from the game, we were right in the way against them.
"We conceded against the run of play and were the better team. We had wonderful chances but didn't take them, so that's something we need to do better- and of course, we should avoid goals and defend better too," he further added.
Missing a striker
Jamshedpur FC got ample chances to kill the game in the last three matches, but failed to convert. Did the unavailability of a genuine No. 9 make them drop points? Owen Coyle did not think so.
The tactician answered, "No, we have genuine No. 9s - Jordan Murray, Ishan Pandita, and we also are looking to bring another one in. Of course, you want to score from chances and we have players who can do that. I think it's always easy (to question) when you have lost a game, nobody says anything when we win. There are lots of games and points ahead of us and we can win those games."

Corominas reports
There are reports that the Men of Steel are keen to rope in ISL's all-time top goalscorer Ferran Corominas as Nerijus Valskis' replacement. Corominas previously played for FC Goa and left the Gaurs ahead of the 2020-21 season.
"Those rumours are untrue. (He is) a wonderful player, somebody whom I've admired for many years. I don't know where the story came from, but we are speaking with a couple of targets," the 55-year-old clarified.
