The Men of Steel again had to be satisfied with a point despite dominating the game.

Before the game Kerala Blasters FC and Jamshedpur FC had the chance to get the same points as table toppers Mumbai City. Ironically, after it, both the teams are level on points. Sahal Abdul Samad scored in the third consecutive game to cancel out Greg Stewart's stunner, which disobeyed the laws of Physics. After another disappointing draw Jamshedpur's boss Owen Coyle interacted in the post-match press conference:

On today's game

The tactician commented on the game and the team's inability to close out games. In answer to this he said, "I think it was a very good game with two very good teams. I do feel We created some wonderful goalscoring chances and Kerala had theirs too. But, over the game, I feel if anybody was going to win the game, it had to be us," said Owen Coyle.

Jamshedpur FC had to play with some major players missing, reflecting that Owen Coyle asserted, "We were missing five possible starters including Farukh (Choudhury). Greg was also absent for the last two days, but he decided to play and scored a stunner. He knows he can do even better."

The coach continued, "We brought on (Ishan) Pandita who had a wonderful chance, one-on-one, in the end to win the game. So, we've to be more clinical and nonetheless, a point is good, as last year we had 13 points from 12 games. When players get injured, I've my young players ready to step in and I love working with them. Young Boris (Thanjam), Ritwik (Das) who had their first start were brilliant. We have certainly done enough to win those games."

Team's Momentum

When asked if his team's momentum is going down after two consecutive draws, the former Owen Coyle denied the notion. "No. Two draws against two very good teams, coming on the back of a 4-0 win against Odisha. I've mentioned we had 13 points from 12 games last year, so there is an improvement already.

“We're in a very competitive league and are going to have many draws and twists and turns. We've to focus on Jamshedpur, the players get fit and healthy because we've shown if we're at our very best we can stay toe to toe with anybody."
