Kerala Blasters sign three-year deal with SIX5SIX as official kit partner

Apart from kits, the sportswear brand is also planning to launch special merchandise for the club's fans.
As reported by Khel Now earlier, Delhi-based sportswear brand SIX5SIX have agreed to a kitting and merchandise partnership with Indian Super League (ISL) club Kerala Blasters for the next three years. SIX5SIX will be designing the team’s home and away kit, practice kits and fan merchandise.
This deal is the brand’s second partnership in the ISL, with FC Goa being the other club who are currently in an ongoing long-term partnership with them.

“We are extremely elated to come on board with a club that enjoys fandom of meteoric proportions. The kit will be crafted keeping the traditional yellow theme in place which is synonymous with the club’s tremendous fan base, and becomes the color of the city on match days. We also plan to launch special merchandise for the fans which will make them feel closer to their team and players,” stated Ambar Aneja, co-founder and CEO of SIX5SIX.

Following the official announcement, Khel Now reached out to Aneja, who shared with us some exclusive details regarding their new partnership with Kerala Blasters.
"I think as a brand investing in the Indian Football ecosystem, there's no way one can ignore Kerala Blasters, we're very happy to associate with them," he began.
"As for the designs, they're going to stand true to the club as well as to our approach as a brand."
Sportswear designer Muhammed Bilal, who has racked up many followers on social media with his eye-catching work, will play a role in the designs of the Kerala Blasters kits. "Yes, Bilal is a part of team SIX5SIX now," Aneja revealed.
The CEO also revealed that the new kits would be of supreme quality. "I'd say the fans are going to be blown away by what we'll give them this time around. We've learnt from our past in terms of what we did well and what we could do better and all of that is going to be reflected in the product that will come out this season. To the fans, all I have to say is, SIX5SIX has your back!" he was quoted saying.
When asked about pricing, Aneja revealed, "Well, we operate in a market that expects global quality but Indian pricing. We're mindful and aware of that. For the fans, any of them who want to buy the original product will be able to afford it."

The new kits are expected to launch prior to the commencement of the upcoming season of ISL. According to SIX5SIX, they will be a unique expression of the club’s ethos and the brand's unique design language. The new merchandise will be available through the brand’s website, as well as certain set of retailers on-ground in Kerala.
