The victory helped the Mariners climb to the top spot on the standings.
ATK Mohun Bagan claimed the bragging rights of the Kolkata Derby for the third time in a row in the Indian Super League (ISL) as they beat SC East Bengal 3-0 on Saturday evening. Roy Krishna opened the scoring for the Mariners in the 12th minute and Manvir Singh doubled their lead just two minutes later.
The third and final goal of the match was netted in by Liston Colaco in the 23rd minute. Despite not entering the score-sheet, the likes of Hugo Boumous and Joni Kauko also excelled for the Mariners, while the SC East Bengal stars looked underwhelmed both individually and as a team.
Here's a quick look at the player ratings from the season's first Kolkata Derby.

SC East Bengal (by Rajdeep Saha)
Arindam Bhattacharya (GK) - 5.0
A performance to forget for the seasoned custodian. It was his mistake which led to the third goal. He couldn't keep his composure while attempting to collect the ball. Was not able to keep a check on his first post, thereby resulting in ATK Mohun Bagan's second goal.
Raju Gaikwad - 5.5
Part of a leaky defence, but had his moments of brilliance. Tackled the likes of Roy Krishna and preventing further trouble .
Tomislav Mrcela - 5.0
Not his best display. Easily allowed through balls to go past him. Allowed five out of ATK Mohun Bagan's 12 shots to be on target. Was substituted off at half time.
Franjo Prce - 5.5
A poor performance overall when compared to his maiden outing in an East Bengal jersey last week. Had some decent blocks here and there.
Joyner Lourenco - 5.5
Didn't have much of an impact on the game. The wing-back could not keep up with the speed of Liston Colaco, who was at his sparkling best on Saturday night.
Lalrinliana Hnamte - 5.5
Received a yellow card. Was substituted in the first half itself.

Darren Sidoel - 6.0
Played decently on his ISL debut. Showed what he is capable of with his good positioning and sense of intercepting an incoming ball. Showed good strength as well.
Md Rafique - 6.0
An underwhelming performance from the seasoned player, but made his presence felt whenever possible. Did a good job tracking back as well when his team required the help at the back.
Bikash Jairu - 5.5
Was not at his shining best against the Mariners on Saturday night. Had a brilliant Manvir Singh keeping him on his toes all evening.
Naorem Mahesh Singh - 5.5
Couldn't create many chances during the game.
Antonio Perosevic - 6.0
The Croatian forward was mostly invisible throughout the game, except for some good moments towards the end of the match.
Substitutes
Suvam Sen (GK) - 7.0
Perhaps the best player on the pitch. Replaced Arindam Bhattacharya in the first half. Made a few good saves, and a good ISL debut overall. Made the only two saves credited to East Bengal. was good in clearing incoming corners as well. Did not concede more goals.
Adil Khan - 6.0
Didn't have much minutes but played his part. Made some crucial tackles and interceptions towards the end of the game.
Amarjit Singh Kiyam - 5.0
Came on midway through the first half as a replacement for Lalrinliana Hnamte, but could not affect the proceedings as much as he would have wanted to. Gave away the ball often and won just one of the four duels he contested.

Hugo Boumous - 6.0
Wasn’t at his usual best but put in four tackles and interceptions in the game. He was taken off on the 67th minute.
Joni Kauko - 7.0
Was a workhorse on the pitch. He provided an inch-perfect pass for the second goal and also completed 88% of his passes. However, his shooting let him down against SC East Bengal.
Roy Krishna - 7.5
Once again scored against East Bengal. Should have scored more considering he had a 100% shot accuracy rate. Chipped in with two tackles as well.
