Each of these matches has been preponed.

The Indian Super League organisers have announced changes to three Jamshedpur FC fixtures for the 2022-23 season. While the reason for the changes in fixtures were not mentioned, three Jamshedpur FC matches have now been preponed from their original date. The ISL 2022-23 season kick-off on October 7 in Kochi with last season's trophy runners-up Kerala Blasters facing last season's wooden spooners East Bengal in the season opener.

On Sunday, the Indian Super League announced that three Jamshedpur FC fixtures have been updated. While two of those are home fixtures, the third is an away visit to the Kalinga Stadium. The rescheduled fixtures are as follows:

ISL 2022-23 rescheduled fixtures

  • Matchweek 6: Jamshedpur FC vs Hyderabad FC scheduled on November 12, 2022, will now be played on November 09, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur
  • Matchweek 16: Jamshedpur FC vs Bengaluru FC to be played on January 21, 2023, has been rescheduled to January 18, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur
  • Matchweek 22: Odisha FC vs Jamshedpur FC scheduled on February 25, 2023, will now be played on February 22, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. at the Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar

This ISL 2022-23 season marks the return of the home and away format as teams also return to their respective venues. It will mark the return of fans to the stands after two seasons inside the bio-bubble. The league phase of the season will run from October 7, 2022, to February 26, 2023. Kerala Blasters face Hyderabad FC in the final league phase match.

The playoffs will then follow with the league expected to finish by March. The league organisers have also announced significant changes to the playoffs format from this season onwards. Instead of the usual top four teams qualifying for the playoffs, this season will see the top six teams reach the knockout stage.

The top two ranked teams will advance directly to the semi-finals. Teams between third and sixth will then face each other in a single-leg play-off match to determine the other two semifinalists. While the third-ranked team will face the team placed sixth, fourth and fifth-placed teams will clash against each other. The winners of this play-off match will then face-off in the two-legged semi-finals with the winners meeting in the summit clash.
