Siverio had signed a unique contract upon arriving at Hyderabad FC. He had penned guaranteed a one-year deal with the option to extend it for another year. He has met all the necessary criteria, goals and assists, to activate the second year of his contract.

The Spaniard scored 7 goals and provided 2 assists in 23 appearances for the Nawabs. He played a major role to help them win the ISL playoffs for the first time ever. Hyderabad FC manager Manolo Marquez ideally wants to keep the majority of his title-winning side together. So keeping a prolific attacker like Siverio for another campaign must be a major boost for him.

About the player

Siverio heavily featured for Hyderabad FC in their title-winning campaign last time around. But Manolo Marquez decided to use him in an interesting manner, often deploying him as an impact substitute.

Indeed, the 24-year-old only started 9 games out of his 23 appearances for the Nawabs last season. But the experiment worked wonders, with 4 of Siverio’s 6 goals coming as a substitute. The Spaniard had an impressive goal conversion ratio of 21% last season as well.
