WATCH: Jorginho welcoming Kalidou Koulibaly at Chelsea

The Senegalese centre-half was welcomed by his former Napoli teammate.
Kalidou Koulibaly has signed for Chelsea from Italian side Napoli for a reported fee of €40m. Koulibaly joins his former Napoli teammate Jorginho and his national teammate Edouard Mendy at Stamford Bridge.
The Senegalese centre-half made a total of 316 appearances across all competitions for Napoli. He was also linked with Juventus, as they saw Koulibaly as their Matthijs de Ligt replacement. But the Blues managed to swoop in and sign the centre-half.
Jorginho was signed by Chelsea's former manager Maurizio Sarri in the summer of 2018. The Italian midfielder has gone on to make 188 appearances for the Blues and has been handed the captain's armband from time and time. Above all, Kalidou Koulibaly and Jorginho made a total of 111 appearances for Napoli and will be looking to add to that tally.
The Senegalese centre-half was welcomed by his former teammates when he joined the Blue's pre-season tour in Las Vegas and has been involved in training. As soon as Koulibaly arrived at the team hotel, the Italian box-to-box midfielder posted a story on his Instagram welcoming the centre-half to the club. Without a doubt, Chelsea faithful will be looking forward to seeing this partnership on the pitch. Finally, the centre-half could make his debut against MLS side Charlotte on Thursday.
