Jose Mourinho: I don't think we will have a big rebuild
The Portuguese tactician has hinted that the club won't spend big in summer.
It has been a tough stint for Jose Mourinho at Tottenham Hotspur especially after bowing out of the UEFA Champions League after losing 0-4 over both legs against RB Leipzig in the round of 16. Mourinho has not had much luck with several players sidelined with injuries and therefore the Lillywhites were beaten by a much stronger RB Leipzig 3-0 at the Red Bull Arena.
However, the Portuguese manager believes that there is no need of an overhaul in the summer transfer window for Spurs, as he feels that once the players are fully recovered, the club will be in a good position.

The game was dominated by the hosts right from the start and right at the 10th-minute mark, a strike from skipper Marcel Sabitzer gave Leipzig the upper hand. The Swiss midfielder came back at 21st-minute mark to score his second on the night and ended all hopes for Spurs to go through. Emil Forsberg scored the third to pile up the misery and mark Jose Mourinho's longest ever run without a win.
It must be disappointing for the club, the supporters and Jose Mourinho himself considering players like Moussa Sissoko, Harry Kane, Heung-min Son and Steven Bergwijn are the ones on the treatment table currently.
Despite acknowledging the fact that these injuries have taken a toll on the club's current campaign, the Portuguese tactician feels that once they are back, they will take the club back to its original standards.
"If I can be critical of some of my players, I keep this for us. They tried to give what they can give," Mourinho told BT Sport.
"We made mistakes, mistakes that we have analysed in previous matches. I never blame players with some difficulties. It's hard for me to cope with players who cannot express their potential, not those who are at their limit. I am with the boys. There is nobody to blame. In every match we have a traumatic injury. That's the history of this season. It is non-stop. Look at our bench tonight. It is very hard. I cannot blame the players.
"I don't think we will have a big rebuild, this summer, unless something happens during the Euros, we have Sissoko back, we have Kane, we have Son, that is massive."
The former Inter Milan manager lauded the effort form their opponents, RB Leipzig and admitted that Spurs deserved to be on the losing side of the tie which was dominated by Julian Nagglesman's men.
"Look, of course I was positive yesterday, that's the way I have to be all of the time. If you're not positive it's better not to come to the game," he said.

"Yes we all believed but we know that in this moment it's very difficult. They are a very strong side."
"It's hard for us to score at the moment. Our first couple of mistakes they score and then it's very difficult. Their physicality is incredible, their defenders win the duels, they stop the game. They are very fast in attack. They can hurt us all of the time, they deserve to go through," Jose Mourinho concluded.
The Lillywhites will return to Premier League action against Manchester United on Sunday as they push for a top-four finish this season. Mourinho's men are in sixth position, four points behind the Red Devils and seven points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.
