Juan Cuadrado will be leaving Juventus after the Old Lady announced they would not extend his contract. The right-back spent eight influential years in Turin.

The 35-year-old, having played more than 300 club matches to his credit, appears to have participated in his final game for the Bianconeri. However, he might return to Italian football in the future.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the seasoned wingback may move to Turkey for the upcoming campaign despite having the option to stay in Italy with other elite Serie A clubs.

The Colombian, who has come from the Peninsula since he was a young child, has options including Inter, Roma, and Lazio, according to the source. He just briefly left for Chelsea until he joined the Bianconeri in 2015.

Cuadrado will depart Juventus when his current term expires at the end of June 2023 because Juventus decided not to extend it. Starting in February, the 34-year-old will be eligible to talk to other clubs about a contract.

Juventus were accused of having various financial irregularities; therefore, this step would ease some of their restrictions by deducting the Colombian's salary.

According to his deal, Cuadrado is reportedly paid about €178,077 gross per week, but the club now views him as a burden because of his declining performances.

However, the Colombian player is not short of clubs, with the likes of Valencia of LaLiga and Fenerbahçe of Turkey, two teams vying for the services of the midfielder.
