Arturo Vidal: Leo Messi is from another planet
The midfielder heaps praise on the Argentine superstar after another incredible performance for the club.
Arturo Vidal spoke at length about how important a role Lionel Messi plays for FC Barcelona and why his presence lifts the confidence levels in the dressing room. The 32-year-old spoke on the backdrop of a 5-1 demolition of Real Valladolid in the La Liga in which Messi contributed with two goals and two assists. The game also included a sensational free-kick from long-range, propelling the Blaugrana at the top of the league standings.
[KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS]"It makes a difference with Leo giving all his quality. When he's like this, the team feels it. We see him every day, but he surprises us every day. Leo is from another planet,” Vidal told the media.

Despite struggling with injuries since the start of the campaign, Messi has been immensely influential to the team as usual whenever he has taken the field. The 32-year-old has already scored five times and assisted another five goals in eight appearances in all competitions. FCB have lacked creativity without him and the fans will hope that their star player remains fit from here onwards.

It is quite visible how reliant Barcelona are on Messi and him being fit will play a big role in their continued domestic domination and a good run in the UEFA Champions League, in which they are currently group leaders and could ensure qualification into the knockouts with a win over Slavia Praha on Tuesday, November 5, following a trip to Levante in the La Liga.
