Mohammedan SC rope in Bunkerhill as new investors

The Black Panthers also revealed their new kits for the 2020-21 season on Monday.
Kolkata giants Mohammedan SC have announced that they have secured sports management company Bunkerhill as their investors ahead of the I-League Qualifiers in Kolkata from 8th October.
"Bunkerhill is the new investor for Mohammedan Sporting Club," revealed club official Wasim Akram on Monday. Akram, who was recently appointed to his post, also spoke on the importance of securing the deal with Bunkerhill, who also become the first-ever investors for the century-old Kolkata club.

Mohammedan SC, who are currently preparing for the I-League Qualifiers in Kolkata, have put together an interesting team and are being considered as the favourites to be promoted to the I-League in the upcoming season. The Black Panthers have appointed former Punjab FC boss Yan Law as the head coach of the club and are vying to get back into the main stream of Indian football.
Moreover, they have also roped in several top players in Indian football, including Willis Plaza and Eze Kingsley among others. Speaking about the club's aims, technical director Dipendu Biswas revealed that they are looking to play in the Indian Super League (ISL) in the near future.
"We can proudly say that we will play in the ISL in the next two years," Biswas said. "Our first aim is to qualify for the I-League and our next aim is to play in the ISL," he added.

Apart from their investors, Mohammedan SC also revealed their new home and away kits for the upcoming 2020-21 season, which will kickoff in Kolkata when the Black Panthers take on Garhwal FC on October 8 at the Kalyani Stadium.
