My style of play was just implemrnted 10 to 15 percent today - Kashyap
The Yellow Brigade came out victorious without any foreigners in the line-up...
The first Maharashtra Derby of the I-League 2017 ended in Mumbai FC`s favour as they edged out DSK Shivajians 1-0. The head coach Santosh Kashyap was a happy man after a narrow win and praised his team’s performance.
“Everybody has given their 100 percent in the entire 90 minutes plus added four minutes, which I was expecting from them with their limitation. I believe in them.” Kashyap said.
When asked about his strategy before the match he said, “I always play for a win. Professional football is all about winning. I always play attacking football, attractive and effective and this was just 10 percent of it.”
Like few other clubs in the league, Mumbai are also yet to announce their foreigners but the head coach Kashyap believes in the present squad
“I have just got Indian players and they did their job fantastically for the team. It was a fantastic win. What else does a coach need from his players, but once foreign players arrive, they will take more load thus making Indian players save energy.”
