Hailing from Bihar, Sanjay Balmuchu is a Tata Football Academy product who made his professional debut for Churchill Brothers in 2012. After two seasons with the Goan club, the all-action midfielder joined Mohammedan SC in the I-League's second division. He then moved to crosstown rivals and Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan in June 2015. The last season with FC Goa was his first experience of the Hero ISL's high-octane football, wherein he made 11 appearnaces while notching up an assist.
A product of the Tata Football Academy, Balmuchu made his Hero ISL debut last season with FC Goa and was solid without being spectacular. With Jamshedpur, he will be hoping to learn from his more experienced counterparts and gain valuable experience in the starting line-up.
