Tottenham Hotspur renew sponsorship deal with AIA, set to receive £320m until 2026-27

The North London club and AIA have been together since 2013.
Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have renewed the deal with their title sponsors AIA and will now get £40m per season until 2026-27. The deal take the Lily Whites at par with Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool who receive similar amount of money from Yokohama, Fly Emirates and Standard Chartered respectively.
Prior to the deal, Tottenham were getting £35m which put them last among the Big Six of the Premier League. The official club statement read, "Tottenham Hotspur is delighted to announce an agreement with AIA Group Limited (AIA), one of the world’s leading life insurers, to extend their long-standing Official Partnership until the end of the 2026/27 season."
"This renewed agreement will see the strategic partnership span well over a decade between the Club and AIA, who originally came on board as Official Cup Shirt Partner in 2013. In the 2014/15 season AIA became Official Shirt Partner in all competitions with the relationship extended in 2017 during Tottenham Hotspur’s post-season tour to AIA’s home market, Hong Kong, as it became the Club’s Global Principal Partner."

Tottenham Hotspur Chairman Daniel Levy said in the statement, “This renewed and extended partnership demonstrates the strength and success of our well-established relationship with AIA and underlines the positive impact we have been able to bring to AIA’s brand and business. We are proud to have the immense support of AIA at such a significant time in the Club’s history. We shall continue to collaborate to drive the club’s and AIA’s growth in Asia and support AIA’s commitment to healthy living in its Centennial year and beyond.”
Although, the highest-grossing club remains Manchester United who are getting £64m from Chevrolet, who are is followed by city rivals Manchester City, amounting £45m from the Etihad Airlines and then the other four of the big six.

The deal comes at the time when Tottenham are rumoured to have approached Juventus for an £80m transfer of Paulo Dybala.
The club is currently in Japan for their pre-season and have played just a single game as of now, having beaten Juventus by three goals to two. They will face Manchester United next at the International Champions Cup at the Hongkou Football Stadium in China on Thursday.
