Top five managers with most wins in first 100 Premier League matches

The Premier League is arguably the most intense and competitive league in the world. The physicality and intensity of the league has stepped up over the years with at least seven big clubs fighting for the Champions League spots. 

Many managers are, criticised heavily upon not performing with the club. However some managers have managed to make an instant impact in their first 100 games.

In the midst of this ,here are the top five managers with most wins in their first 100 Premier League matches.

5) Sir Alex Ferguson (62)

Sir Alex Ferguson is arguably the best manager of all time. He has won 13 Premier League titles, five FA cups ,four League Cups and two Champions Leagues with Manchester United.

However his win record in the first 100 games as manager is not upto the mark in comparison to the others. Ferguson has won 62 games ,drawn 25 and lost 13 in his first 100 matches with the Red Devils.

4) Manuel Pellegrini (65)

Before Pep's arrival, Manchester City was already dominating the league. Manuel Pellegrini has played a great role in the success of the Cityzens.

Manchester City's 2-1 win over Sunderland in 2016 marked Manuel's 65th victory out of 100 games as their manager. Despite this excellent feat ,Pep Guardiola was destined and set to take his place the next season.

3) Antonio Conte (65)

Conte has earned a reputation of helping clubs in the mud. He left his role as Italy manager in Euro 2016 and then joined Chelsea. He got the Blues back on track after a horrendous season and won the Premier League title in his debut season.

Despite winning the FA Cup in his second season, the Chelsea board sacked Conte. After a two season stint at Inter, he then joined Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs' 3-1 victory over Leicester marked his 100th game in the Premier League.

Antonio is fairly close to Pep Guardiola but has a better record than Klopp. The Spurs manager has won 65 games in his first 100 matches.

2) Jose Mourinho (73)

The Portuguese is the most successful manager in Chelsea's history. He has won three Premier League titles , three league cups and a FA Cup with the Blues. 

Mourinho also has the most impressive win record of any manager in their first 100 games. He won the Premier League title in each of his first two seasons at Chelsea. 

Jose has also won 73 matches and has picked up 18 draws and nine defeats in his first 100 matches. This implies that he is clear of Pep Guardiola as well despite the same number of wins.

1) Pep Guardiola (73)

Pep has revolutionized Manchester City's reputation and the team has become European and League contenders almost every season. He also had an excellent record with FC Barcelona and Bayern in his career. The Barcelona team under Pep is considered to be the greatest team of all time.

The Spaniard has picked up 73 wins in his first 100 matches. He has also garnered 15 draws and only 12 losses. However, despite such an admirable feat , Pep could not bear Mourinho's record. The Manchester City manager needed a victory against Newcastle United but failed unfortunately.
