Cristiano Ronaldo takes a dig at FIFA for ignoring his goal for Puskas

The Juventus talisman was crowned as the "Best Player of the Year" for the third consecutive time by Globe Soccer Awards.
Cristiano Ronaldo took a jibe at the FIFA for ignoring his Champions League bicycle-kick for the prestigious Puskas award. The former Real Madrid forward also outlined the goal scored against his current side as the best goal of his career.
Cristiano Ronaldo had a stellar 2017-18 season for his former side Real Madrid. The Portuguese, with his club, went on to win his third consecutive and fourth in five seasons, Champions League title. On an individual note, Ronaldo enjoyed a very productive 2018, scoring 49 goals throughout the year, just two less than the top scorer Lionel Messi.
Cristiano Ronaldo was crowned as the "Best Player of the Year" at the Globe Soccer Awards Ceremony in Dubai, beating the likes of Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe. The talismanic Portuguese winger also was rewarded for his 'that' goal in Turin.
Globe Soccer Awards recognised it as the best goal of the year. For the inundated, Globe Soccer Awards is the third best-recognised award in football, and Ronaldo has been winning it in the past two years.
After getting overlooked for both the Ballon d'Or and for the Puskas, Ronaldo sounded resentful and took jibes at the FIFA executives. Soon after getting rewarded for the goal by Globe Soccer Awards, Ronaldo criticised the one's at FIFA who decided to award Mohammad Salah the Puskas for his goal against Everton.
According to Cristiano Ronaldo, the ones who decided to give the Puskas to the Liverpool's Egyptian forward need to “know more about football.”

“I see that those who understand this sport realize how hard it is to score a goal such as this one,” Ronaldo said.
The only downside of the goal for Ronaldo is that it had to come against his current side, Juventus.
