Kochi boys too good for Guwahati in Reliance Foundation Youth Sports National Championship

Nirmala College Kochi and Govt Higher Secondary School Panampally, Kochi got off to an impressive start to their campaigns as they thrashed the respective opponents from Guwahati on Day 1 of Reliance Foundation Youth Sports National Football Championship here today.
In the College Boys category, Nirmala College made a mockery of their opponent Arya Vidyapeeth College-Guwahati as they strolled to a 14-0 victory. The one-sided match saw three hat-tricks being scored by the boys in yellow with Jithin M finding the net four times (45’, 47’, 50’, & 78’) while Sachin Sivan (35’, 43’, 57’) and Abdul K (51’, 52’, 55’) completing the other two hat-tricks.
On the other hand, the Government Higher Secondary School Panampally, Kochi registered a convincing 6-2 victory over Guwahati’s Rajdhar Bora High Secondary School in the Senior Boys category. Main striker Adarsh AS sealed the fate for the opponents with a hat-trick in 37’, 90’ & 93’ minute.
