India vie to defeat Nepal and expect other results to go their way in SAFF U-18 Final Round

The Junior Colts seek a win to seal the title and expect another result to go their way. 

The SAFF U-18 Championship is moving into its final stage as India take on Nepal, knowing that a win is necessary for them to keep their hopes alive to win the tournament. In what has been an extremely competitive tournament so far, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan are all tied on 6 points and all their fates rest upon each of the remaining games. India will need to win their game against Nepal and hope that Bhutan get something out of their game against Bangladesh, or can be crowned champions if all the matches in the last round ended up as draws.

It's a stern test against Nepal who are coming on the back of an impressive win against Bangladesh. The Gorkhas will themselves go for a win which can help them to be crowned as champions. The young Indian Tigers are coming into the game on the back of two impressive wins themselves and will look to do a sweep against Nepal, which can help them match the U-16 success last month and be crowned as SAFF U-18 champions.

India U-18 wouldn't want to make any changes to their team in their vital match against Nepal, who will be a difficult team to beat knowing the form they are enjoying. The young Tigers will lineup similar to the team that defeated Maldives a few days ago and knowing the stunning attacking prowess of the young Colts, one can expect an exciting showcase from them as they aim to match their juniors' success and bring home the SAFF U-18 Championship trophy.

Nepal fought their way to an impressive victory against Bangladesh a few days back, with a stunning strike by Roman Limbu making them contenders for winning the tournament ahead of the match against India. The Gorkhas have the momentum with them right now and will mostly stick with the team which thwarted Bangladesh.

The SAFF U-18 Championship has unearthed the stunning attacking talent of the India U-18 team and while the whole unit is pretty impressive, Princeton Rebello has been a player who has been a stand-out. Rebello has scored 2 goals in the tournament already and the winger has several admirable skills in his game. Not only does he has a brilliant eye for goal, but he's also very good on the ball with his trickery and movement. Rebello will need to click for India to break Nepal's resolute defence and knowing how much of a threat he has been for the young Colts in the tournament, he'll be vital for India's success in this do-or-die match.

Nepal U-18: Roman Limbu

Roman Limbu has been an amazing find for Nepal U-18 in the SAFF U-18 Championships and has made the mark with some scintillating strikes. Limbu has been a vital part of Nepal's two victories and has scored in both matches, with his recent strike against Bangladesh being outrageous. Limbu scored an incredible free kick from 40 yards which gave The Gorkhalis all three points on the day. He's been in amazing form throughout the tournament and will need to produce moments of magic against India if Nepal are to get the win and have any chances of winning the tournament.
