Deal agreed between Chelsea and Juventus for Maurizio Sarri
The Italian tactician is expected to be revealed at the Turin-based club in the coming week.
It is reported that Juventus and Chelsea have reached to an agreement over a deal for Maurizio Sarri. The Chelsea boss is expected to sign for Juventus in a few days on a three-year deal. Sky in Italy confirms that the talks between the senior officials of both the Premier League and Serie A club ended on a positive note late on Thursday evening.
Former Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri, left the club after five years. He won 11 trophies along with taking the team to the UEFA Champions League final twice. During his time, he completed the two domestic trebles and two domestic doubles.
In the meantime, Maurizio Sarri's stay at Chelsea was always surrounded with his challenges to cope up in the change of culture along with the hurdle of adapting his tactics on the field by the players. Time and against Sarri had conveyed his interest in heading back to Italy.
Once Allegri resigned, Juventus did not waste much time in roping Sarri to Juventus. It is understood that the agreement of compensation to be paid to Chelsea for Sarri would amount more than £5m.
Chelsea are expected to receive more than £5m, potentially leaving the way clear for Derby manager Frank Lampard to return to Stamford Bridge. ????
