The Belgian joined Nerazzurri ahead of this season for a reported club-record fee of €80m.

The Inter Milan striker, Romelu Lukaku, is on a stunning form having scored four goals in the last two games against Genoa and Napoli. The forward now has 14 goals in 18 Serie A games, breaking the record set by Christian Vieri, when he scored 13 in 18 matches in 2000. His brace against Napoli on Monday helped Nerazzurri to stay on top of the league ahead of Juventus on goal difference. [KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS] Reflecting on the win, Lukaku told Inter.it,  “It’s important to have a leader like Conte behind you, we’re a young side and he’s a champion. My partnership with Lautaro? We’re great friends off the pitch and we manage to help each other when we play together. I’m happy with how we’re working together but I know that there’s still room for further improvement.” [embed]https://youtu.be/v5htCJvz0t8[/embed] Romelu Lukaku scored a brace in 19 minutes in the first half “We played a great game tonight, I’m happy for the fans because this is a win that sends a message to everyone. I don’t think about records or statistics: I just work to help the team win. I’m happy with how we’re doing, we’re growing thanks to all the work we’re doing together.” [KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News | ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS] Inter Milan face fifth-placed Atlanta on 11th January and talking about the game, Romelu Lukaku said, “We’ll work out the best way to win together with our Coach.”
