While players like Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have kept us entertained for a decade and more, they are unfortunately in the last stages of their career.

In their absence will be these following players, that will step up to be the best in the business. The following players have already earned a name for themselves at a very young age due to their exceptional talent.

Riqui Puig

One of La Masia’s products, Riqui Puig is one to watch out for. With him, FC Barcelona have another talented young midfielder in their ranks who will carry forward the legacy left behind by players like Xavi and Andres Iniesta.

Phil Foden

Manchester City’s boy wonder, Phil Foden has had to bide his time to showcase his talent under Pep Guardiola. However, he has finally got the minutes that he deserved and proved why he is pegged as the next big talent coming out of England.

Atletico Madrid broke their transfer record to recruit Joao Felix from SL Benfica. The Portuguese striker was bought for a sum of €127.20m, which remains the fifth-most expensive transfer of all time.

He made the move to the La Liga at the age of 19 and expectedly had a slow start. Having said that, the forward has now started to show why Atletico Madrid paid so much money for him.

Real Madrid’s starlet Vinicius Junior is also one of the superstars of tomorrow. The Spanish giants paid €45m for an 18-year-old winger from Flamengo. The Brazilian had many suitors across Europe due to his immense talent, but chose the Los Blancos.

Erling Haaland

Erling Haaland's story continues with Borussia Dortmund after the striker made the headlines with unbelievable displays for RB Salzburg. The Norwegian’s goal scoring feats are unbelievable. 

The 20-year-old has scored six goals in seven games for Norway, 29 goals & seven assists in 27 games for RB Salzburg and 37 goals & seven assists in 38 games for Borussia Dortmund. The striker is valued at €100.00m and his value will only go up as he matures.

He is the youngest starter at Camp Nou at 16 years and 318 days, the youngest La Liga scorer at 16 years and 304 days, the youngest UEFA Champions League debutant for FCB at 16 years and 321 days and more.

Kylian Mbappe
