The extraordinary passes and vision of these players have destroyed every defence.

The Premier League is the world's most watched league. Two of the main reasons for its popularity is its star-studded clubs and breathtaking action. The league has some of the biggest names and every year, they produce extraordinary performances. In particular, some of the creative players in the league are almost-magicians, with their skillsets and unimaginable vision. Often, these creative players remain under the radar, even though they are the heart and soul of their respective teams.

Therefore, we are here today to reveal the top five players with the most assists in the Premier League from open-play.

5. Gabriel Jesus - 18 assists

Since February 2020, the Brazilian striker has provided the fifth-most assists in the league. The former Manchester City player joined Arsenal this season after being a key member of the Cityzens during his time at Etihad. Since February 2020, he has scored 28 goals and provided 18 assists in 77 games.

Jesus has become the main threat for Arsenal's opponents since he switched to the Gunners. In six Premier League appearances, Jesus has scored three goals and provided three assists and looks really hungry to prove Manchester City wrong despite winning four Premier League titles with them.

4. Harry Kane - 21 assists

Tottenham's No. 10 has been very consistent throughout his career in the Premier League. Although Kane has always been considered a great goal scorer for the team, his delivery has been equally precise. Spurs have also used him as a playmaker. In 87 games since February 2020, Harry Kane has assisted his teammates 21 times.

In 2017-18, Kane won the golden boot award with 30 goals in 37 games. In 2020-21, he scored 23 goals and provided 14 assists, he won the best goalscorer award and playmaker awards at the same time. With his top-notch performances, Harry Kane has once again had a fantastic start to the current season with Spurs. With five goals in six matches, Kane is clearly on track to compete for the golden boot again this season.

3. Mohamed Salah - 22 Assists

The Egyptian king is a prolific scorer in the league every year. In the 91 games he has appeared in since Feb 2020, he has accounted for 22 assists. The former Roma star has been brilliant with Liverpool over the years, winning three golden boot awards since joining them in 2017. Besides having great feet in assisting his teammates, Salah has also been vital to the team as a genuine goalscorer.

Last season, the Merseyside winger became the second Premier League player to win the golden boot and lead the assists charts. However, Salah has not lived up to his high standards this season, scoring just two goals in six appearances. Despite the early woes, Salah is still a strong contender for the golden boot.

2. Kevin De Bruyne - 22 Assists

Kevin de Bruyne is one of the best playmakers in the Premier League and holds two Premier League playmaker of the season awards. The Belgian has helped the Cityzens clinch four Premier League titles since 2017. Since Feb 20, De Bruyne has tallied 22 assists from open play and 28 goals in 73 games.

The Belgium player is a master at finding his teammates from any angle of the pitch. Particularly this season, De Bruyne has looked sharp with four assists and a goal in the opening few weeks. Thus, he leads the tournament's best playmaker chart right now.

1. Bruno Fernandes - 23 Assists

From the moment Fernandes joined Manchester United in 2020 January window, he has been a focal point of the team. Since February 2020, Fernandes has been the top assist provider in the English Premier League with 23 assists from open play. The resurgence of Manchester United has been largely attributed to Bruno Fernandes only.

In season 20-21, Fernandes had the greatest impact, appearing in 37 games, scoring 18 goals and providing 12 assists. Although, Fernandes' impact on United hasn't been the same since then, he's slowly adapting to Erik Ten Hag's tactics.
