The super-agent is well-known for standing up for his clients and getting them the best deals in the market.

Mino Raiola is a big name when it comes to player representatives. The Dutch-Italian agent manages some of the biggest football stars out there. In total, the 53-year-old superagent has over 70 high-profile players under his management.

Recently, Raiola made some controversial comments regarding one of his clients, Paul Pogba. He claimed that Pogba’s time at Manchester United is “over” as the player feels ‘unhappy’ there.

There was a lot of talk about the intent and timing of these comments, ahead of a crucial UEFA Champions League game, which the Red Devils eventually lost. Having said that, it's evident that Mino Raiola knows what’s best for his clients and gets them as well as himself the most lucrative deals.

Here is a look at the top five players Mino Raiola manages in world football:

5. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (AC Milan)

The Sweden international is a household name in world football and has excelled at every club he has been a part of. Over the years, thanks to incredible management by his agent Raiola, Ibrahimovic has secured multiple moves to big clubs and accumulated gigantic transfer fees.

Incredibly, even at 39 years of age and after dominating the MLS scene in the US, Ibrahimovic is setting the stage on fire at AC Milan.

4. Gianluigi Donnarumma (AC Milan)

One of the best Italian goalkeepers right now, Gianluigi Donnarumma is also managed by Mino Raiola. The custodian has been playing at the senior level since a very young age and is pegged to follow in the footsteps of legendary goalkeepers like Dino Zoff and Gianluigi Buffon.

At 21-years-old, Donnarumma has accumulated over 200+ appearances for club and country. Valued at €60m, he is one of the most expensive goalkeepers in the market today.

3. Marco Verratti (Paris Saint-Germain)

Another Italian player managed by MIno Raiola is Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti. He is the creative force in the heart of PSG’s midfield and has been impressive on the international stage as well.

For the last eight years, he has only played for PSG after joining from Pescara. He is valued at €60m and is always on the radar of many elite European clubs.

2. Paul Pogba (Manchester United)

Paul Pogba is one of the most valuable midfielders around and is pegged at around €80m in the current market. His time at Manchester United has been turbulent to say the least. Pogba has been targeted for being inconsistent at MUFC and Bruno Fernandes’ arrival has increased the scrutiny on him.

Mino Raiola did not help the cause of his client with controversial comments recently and will need to find a club for him soon.

1. Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund)

Erling Haaland has emerged as one of the most promising young talents in Europe in recent times. At only 20-years-old, he has already established himself at the highest level for club and country. The Norwegian is currently playing for Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga, but is on the radar of almost every top European club.

Haaland is the most valuable player in Mino Raiola’s client list, valued at €100m. He does have a €70m release clause in his current contract though. When he moves to a bigger club in the future, Raiola will definitely bank a lot of money in the process.
