Top three players with most successful dribbles per 90 in Brasileirao 2023
One player has already caught the eye of a European club
Brazil's players keep favouring the dribble as a tool on the pitch. Because of it, the player is able to go past tough defences and produce risky plays for his team. According to a survey, among the five major European leagues, Brazilian players continue to use this resource the most. They are known for their skills and some of the young guns have impressed in the Brasileirao with the most successful dribbles.
Top European clubs are constantly looking to sign Brazilian teenagers because they consistently possess top dribbling abilities and, despite being young, have displayed class in front of the players.
3. Angelo Gabriel (Santos) - 4.6
Angelo Gabriel enjoys starting on the right flank before cutting inside with his stronger left foot. The Santos FC forward plays with flare, which is a characteristic of Brazil. His strongest strength is dribbling, which he does with excellent technical abilities and quick feet. In terms of his playing style, he and Rodrygo are extremely similar.
He frequently employs skills to outperform his marker. He lacks poise in front of the goal, which results in a subpar finished product. Nevertheless, given his undeveloped talent, a sophisticated work environment could help him perform at his peak.
2. Richard Rios (Palmeiras) - 4.8
Richard Rios is another top Brazilian player who made dribbling his most important skill in the Brasileirao league, and the player is the second-most successful dribbler in the league. The Palmeiras youngster has grown into a top player, and if he maintains his defender-beating skills, then we can expect him to soon join a top European club as he is just 23. Hopefully, a big club will come calling once he reaches his potential in the Brazilian league.
1. Henry Mosquera (Red Bull Bragantino) - 5.1
The 21-year-old has been one of the best dribblers in the league, recording 5.1 dribbles in the game. Henry Mosquera, who plays for Red Bull Bragantino, has been excellent for them and continues to grow more in each game. If he remains at the top of his game, he will certainly be compared to the likes of Neymar's dribbling skills. However, he is just 21, but one can claim he is bursting with potential, and at the right time, we can expect him to make his name in Brazil's league.
