The Brazilian has won five times out of six against Delhi...
Zico will be looking for a victory when his side will take on Delhi Dynamos in the Indian Super League match at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Sunday. “For me every game is crucial and the situation where we are now, it is much more important to win here,” said the Brazilian coach. Despite dominating in every department FC Goa have failed to get results. But Zico praised the efforts of the players saying, “The players are trying to do their best, trying to win. We have seen that no team has dominated us. Games have been very equal. We are creating lots of chances but unfortunately we are not finishing them.” Zico believes that he can change the scenario of the team with the same players he has. “I think that we can change the situation with the players we have and we can do better,” said the tactician in confident tone. The 63-year-old also admitted that Robin Singh’s performance in the league so far has been under par and he is expecting him to improve in the coming matches. “We expect from a player to show his 100% but unfortunately Robin has not showed it yet on the pitch,” He added. The Brazilian coach thinks that 20 points will be enough for his side to make the play-offs but he also believes the tally could be lower as the league is tight.
