India lost 3-2 to the United Arab Emirates in their opening game at the AFC Asian U-16 Championship and speaking ahead of his team's next match manager Nicolai Adam admitted they would face an even tougher test against powerhouses Saudi Arabia...
“We are fully aware of the fact that Saudi are better in quality than the UAE. They were very close to beating Iran. We all know that Iran are a very strong team,” Adam said on the eve of the match. But, the German tactician said his team would go all out to get a good result. “Who would’ve thought Kyrgystan would beat Australia and Iraq beat Korea so we will give our best and let’s see what the result will be. The match starts at 0-0,” Tomorrow's opponents Saudi Arabia themselves suffered a narrow defeat to Iran in the opener, but Head Coach Mohammed Abdullah said his team are still in buoyant mood. “it was not the last match we have two more matches remaining. It’s not going to be easy tomorrow. We will go into the game looking to perform well, keep our composure and play consistent football," he explained. The Saudi boss acknowledged the tag of favourites and said he was satisfied with the facilities in India.Report by Khel Now Correspondent Ravish Narvekar from Goa .
