We missed the penalty but we stayed positive and won the game-Kashyap
The Mumbai coach praised his players for great performances in back-to-back wins...
Mumbai FC coach Santosh Kashyap was a happy man tonight after securing a hard fought 2-1 win over Churchill Brothers in the I-League match played at Tilak Maidan, Vasco earlier today.
The coach Kashyap was overjoyed after a comeback victory and praised the performance of his team.
"Great win, great comeback. As I told you before, it is going to be a tough match. Away games always pose many challenges. It's very important to come back twice. We missed the penalty but we stayed positive and won the game. I hope many more will follow,” Kashyap said.
Churchill players performed excellently in the entire match and showed some quality football. The Mumbai coach also appreciated their work saying, “In the first half, Churchill were defending in their own half and were going for counter-attacks but in the second half, they were playing more attacking football, so we were under more pressure. But we managed it very well.”
He also believes that with more foreigners Churchill will be more clinical in every department.
