The Indian football team will next play in March 2024.

The Indian national football team faced a disappointing campaign in the AFC Asian Cup 2023, exiting the group stage without securing a single point or scoring a goal. The lackluster performance intensified the pressure on head coach Igor Stimac, who couldn’t deliver what the Indian fans wanted to see in the continental competition.

Igor’s objective is securing a top-two position in the World Cup Qualifiers (Round 2) to advance to Round 3. Stimac remains steadfast in his determination to guide the team into the next phase of the World Cup Qualifiers. As the fixtures approach, the Indian team faces a crucial juncture, with the hope of redemption and a chance to rejuvenate their campaign on the road to the FIFA World Cup.
