SPL is set to witness the Riyadh Derby tonight.
Al-Awwal Park is ready to host Friday’s Saudi Pro League’s Riyadh Derby between Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr and Al Hilal.
Following their 1-0 loss against Al Taawoun on Tuesday, the Knights of Najd were eliminated from the King’s Cup round of 16 as Cristiano Ronaldo and company were defeated by none other than the Blue Waves in the Saudi Super Cup final last time.
Al Nassr are now six points behind Jorge Jesus’ team in the league standings, but they have managed to keep their undefeated record this season. Al Hilal enters the match having defeated Al Tai 4-1 to guarantee their spot in the King’s Cup quarterfinals.
Although neither team has lost in the league thus far, Al Hilal leads with eight wins in a row, while Al Nassr are in third place with five wins and three draws.

Will Cristiano Ronaldo play tonight?
After missing the most crucial penalty of the match, Ronaldo will hope to bounce back and lead the Al-Nassr attacking line in the match. Considering it is going to be the most decisive match for his side they will need to be at their best to secure a win as they are also playing at home.
It’s very rare to see Ronaldo missing such important spot-kicks in a match as the defeat eliminated Al Nassr out of the competition.
Ronaldo will be reeling his wasted chance he had to send the game into extra-time against Al Taawoun in the tournament, but the striker instead fluffed his chance and will look to make amends when his side host the league’s most dominant side Al Hilal.
Ronaldo remained at his best this season as well, scoring nine goals in 12 matches across all competitions and the forward will be looking to reach double digits when his side face Al Hilal in a crunch match.
