2026 FIFA World Cup: List of all nations qualified so far

The United States, Canada, and Mexico qualified as co-host nations.
Three nations—the United States, Canada, and Mexico—will host the 2026 FIFA World Cup and have already qualified as co-host nations for the tournament.
The World Cup will be held in North America for the first time since 1994 in its latest form, which is scheduled to run from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
There were 24 teams in the competition back then, and it was held only in the United States. Brazil won their fourth championship in that iteration.
However, there will be far more than 24 nations vying for the football’s biggest prize at the next year’s event. With 48 teams participating, the 2026 World Cup will be the biggest ever this time.
The competition has now grown to 48 teams, with the 2022 tournament being the final one to have 32 teams. Although the precise structure wasn’t decided until 2023, FIFA accepted the change to 48 teams in January 2017.
All six FIFA confederations—UEFA (Europe), CONMEBOL (South America), AFC (Asia), CAF (Africa), CONCACAF (North and Central America & the Caribbean), and OFC (Oceania)—will have countries competing in 2026.
