Al-Hilal add Bernardo Silva to summer transfer wish list: Report

City are open to selling the Portuguese midfielder for the right price.
Al-Hilal, a Saudi Pro League team, are preparing a significant transfer flurry in an attempt to catch up to champions Al-Ittihad.
After losing out on Bruno Fernandes, who chose to stay in Europe, Manchester City offensive midfielder Bernardo Silva is high on the team’s shortlist, according to a report published by Foot Mercato. In addition to hiring Simone Inzaghi as head coach, Al-Hilal are attempting to entice Victor Osimhen.
According to the publication, Bernardo Silva has received a contractual offer from Al-Hilal. The Portugal international is in Germany right now to play Spain in the UEFA Nations League final in Munich. Silva will soon begin his next season at Manchester City.
Silva may be gradually moved out of City’s starting lineup, according to Foot Mercato, as Guardiola looks to revitalise his team.
According to journalist Santi Aouna, Silva is one of Manchester City’s alternatives for bolstering and strengthening the team’s roster prior to the upcoming season.
The insider also stated that although Silva is on the Saudi club’s list of targets, there hasn’t been any official action from Al-Hilal to acquire him as of yet.
The English team would not object to Silva leaving this summer if a good offer was made, as his contract with City expires in the summer of 2026.
During the previous season, Bernardo Silva participated in 49 official games for Manchester City. The outstanding football player scored five goals and provided four assists in these games.
Additionally, Bernardo Silva will be given the number 10 shirt by Al-Hilal. Besides this Saudi club, Turkish outfit Galatasaray are also interested in bringing Silva to the club in the summer window, who have offered astronomical offers to numerous international stars, such as Leroy Sane and Victor Osimhen.
With City going through their rebuild phase, it will be interesting to see if the Portuguese will be in the plans of the Spanish manager going into the next season.
