The Brazilian was busy with individual training against just a goalkeeper.
During training sessions at Al-Hilal, Neymar scored goals once more, accelerating his recuperation from yet another injury setback. The Brazilian was seen drilling the ball in the net against a goalkeeper, and it appears that he is making good progress after his recent injury.
After sustaining an injury to his knee ligament, South American sensation Neymar was sidelined for over a year. After his eagerly anticipated comeback from that setback, he was ruled out once more after making just two appearances.
The Saudi Pro League is now on winter break. Al-Hilal wonât play again until January 7 when they play Al-Ittihad in the King Cup of Champions quarterfinals. Neymar will be optimistic that his luck will turn around in 2025.
However, the forward is not yet registered to play in the league matches. Hence Al-Hilal will have to either omit someone from their squad or sell a player to register the Brazilian for next yearâs matches.
The fact that he is being practising again suggests that he may be ready for the Middle Eastern side to feature in competitive action again. With an âeasyâ penalty shot into the bottom corner, the 32-year-old forward has demonstrated that he still knows how to score goals.
Besides Al-Hilal, the national team will also hope for the former Santos player to return with great fitness as they enter the crucial year with the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying phases. They will need one of the best players to turn around their poor run.
After watching Neymar score just one goal in seven games, Al-Hilal will be hopeful that shooting drills can have him playing at his best. The former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain player has stated that he wants to fulfil his contract in Riyadh. But there are rumours that he may transfer elsewhere, either to rejoin Lionel Messi this time in Major League Soccer or return to his hometown and play for Santos.
