Al Nassr mark 70th anniversary with bold new crest reveal

They last changed their logo in 2020.
On the 70th anniversary of their club, the Saudi Pro League giants have come up with a new logo. Al Nassr have come up with several logos over the years. Their last change came in 2020 when the laurel wreath around the sides of the logo and a yellow ribbon from the bottom of the crest were removed.
The Saudi Pro League giants took to their official ‘X’ account, where they posted a video celebrating the 70th anniversary of the club. Towards the end, they unveiled the new logo. They captioned the social media post as, “70 years of glory, And all along, you’ve been Nassr.”
The new crest of Al Nassr has a minimal look. The first eye-catching difference can be seen is the removal of the crown from the top of the previous logo. The name of the club on the crest says ‘Nassr’ instead of ‘Al Nassr’. At the bottom of the crest, they have added ‘Riyadh’ and the year ‘1955’ when the club was founded.
The nine-time Saudi Pro League winners, Al Nassr, are one of the top clubs in Saudi Arabia, but they still are yet to win the AFC Champions League title.
The 2024-25 season has not been the best for the club. They first got knocked out of the semifinals of the AFC Champions League and later blew their chances away for winning the league title.
Al Nassr might look to sign some new players to strengthen their defence. Now with the rumours of Cristiano Ronaldo moving away from the club, they might have to make some early decisions for the attack as well.
