Youngster Valentin Carboni has been picked up by Scaloni for tournament

The Argentina national team’s final squad has been registered for the Copa America in 2024. The United States of America (USA) will host this year’s Copa America, which begins on June 20.

The defending champions are in Group A. The opening match for Argentina in Group A is against Canada; while Peru and Chile round out the group. The defending champions seem to be the clear favourites to top the group and even lift the trophy at the end of the tournament.

Additionally, Lionel Scaloni, the manager of Argentina, has announced his final squad five days before the competition begins. Since squads must be presented to CONMEBOL by June 15 in the evening, Scaloni postponed making his decisions until the very last minute.

Additionally, Leo Balerdi, Angel Correa and Valentin Barco have been left out of the 26-man roster by the Argentina manager, indicating some significant changes. While Man United youngster Alejandro Garnacho makes the final team. Lionel Messi will captain the side and will be looking to win another international trophy.
