The Catalan club will travel to Japan and South Korea.

Barcelona have confirmed their squad for the tour to Japan and South Korea. The roster includes new signing Marcus Rashford, who joined from Manchester United on a season-long loan.

However, their tour to Japan looked to have been cancelled after a payment dispute, which resulted in the club initially suspending the Japan leg of the tour.

Though a last-minute discussion secured the team €15 million, owed to the club for the tour, allowing Hansi Flick’s side to travel to Japan.

Another new signing, Roony Bardghji, has also been named in the travelling team, after the forward impressed coach Flick during the training session.

Which teams will Barca face on the pre-season tour?

The Spanish club will begin their pre-season tour against Vissel Kobe on Sunday, followed by a game against FC Seoul in South Korea on 31st July. They will next play Daegu in South Korea on 4 August, before wrapping the pre-season tour against Serie A team Como in the Joan Gamper match on 10th August.

Following the end of their pre-season tour, Barcelona’s next focus will be on their new season as the Blaugrana will start their LaLiga title defence against Mallorca on 16th August.

Many new faces have been called up by Flick for their pre-season tour. A few La Masia players have also received a chance to impress during these friendly games in Japan and South Korea.

There are also a few players who have been omitted from the squad. Oriol Romeu and Pau Victor are not travelling, while goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is set to undergo back surgery.

Forwards: Ferran Torres, Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Marcus Rashford, Toni Fernandez, Roony Bardghji.
