The Red Devils will face Israel and Italy in the Nations League.
Belgium have announced their squad for the year’s last international break and for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches. The Red Devils will face Italy and Israel in the tournament and will hope to advance further in the competition.
However, they are third in the table below France and Italy and will have to step up in their last two matches of the year to have any chances of securing a place in the Nations League.
Their October games saw them draw 2-2 with Italy before losing 2-1 against France. Domenico Tedesco is under massive pressure to turn the tide around during the November matches.
Following their 3-1 win over Israel in the opening game of Group A2, Belgium are winless in their last three matches. Belgium are aware of that two wins is must that will see them secure a place in the quarterfinal of the competition.
Many of the star players have been recalled and Romalu Lukaku who has been in hot form for Napoli once again got his place despite missing the opening four matches in the competition.
“He had no hesitation to return. He is one of the best strikers in world football. He doesn’t have to prove anything to anybody any more,”
“His qualities are key for us, and he’s also important off the pitch. He’s a natural leader and is very good at helping the young players.” Tedesco said.
