Champions League 2024-25 Points table, most goals & key stats after Matchday 5

Liverpool continue their unbeaten run in the competition.
With Matchday five of the new ‘league phase’ behind us, the Champions League knockout stages are beginning to take shape.
After five straight victories, a flawless Liverpool team continues the lead, with 2023 finalists Inter following closely behind. However, with three games remaining, the standings are still close, with only three points separating third-place Barcelona from first-place Reds.
Only the top eight teams will advance directly to the round of 16, avoiding a further two-leg play-off round, while the top 24 teams will all advance to the play-off round of the Champions League.
