The Blues are exploring some moves in the winter window.
A wide range of Chelsea players are currently being linked to moves away from Stamford Bridge and some are linked with a move to the west Londoners.
Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall have been out for several weeks, while Axel Disasi and Cesare Casadei seem most likely to depart as they aren’t in the Italian’s plans. Hence, Chelsea could look for replacements and reinforce their squad in the January transfer window.
Trevoh Chalobah has already been called back from a loan at Crystal Palace to try to address defence-related concerns, and the Blues still have the opportunity to make a similar choice in midfield.
Will Chelsea recall Lesley Ugochukwu and Andrey Santos?
The Blues’ fans believe Maresca ought to seriously consider calling back Andrey Santos and Lesley Ugochukwu to his team in January as opposed to the summer as injuries are piling in the middle of the pitch for the Italian.
Ugochukwu, who is the same age as Santos, has made nine starts and seven substitute appearances for Southampton, with his best showings occurring last week against Manchester United and Nottingham Forest.
Chelsea considering making an offer for Alejandro Garnacho
Talks on a possible deal for Alejandro Garnacho are scheduled to take place between Chelsea and Manchester United, according to Fabrizio Romano. Rumours of a move to the Blues were sparked by the sighting of Garnacho’s representatives Carlos Cambeiro and Quique De Lucas at Stamford Bridge during Chelsea’s Premier League match versus Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Manchester United are reportedly open to trading Garnacho this month, although they are reportedly set on their £50 million ($61 million) valuation for the winger.
Chelsea linked with a move for Dusan Vlahovic
However, the Blues might still recruit a new centre-forward because Jackson’s finishing has fluctuated between being brilliant and perplexing. And possibly at the top of their list is Vlahovic, the Serbian international who has been connected to Arsenal for years.
Chelsea are rumoured to be interested in acquiring Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus, and they may be able to use defender Renato Veiga in exchange.
In order to sign Vlahovic Chelsea will probably still need to sell a player and stay within profit and sustainability regulations.
Christopher Nkunku’s move to Bayern Munich halted
The planned transfer of Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea to Bayern Munich is presently on hold, reports suggest. Chelsea would only grudgingly allow the forward to leave if their minimum £70 million asking price was fulfilled.
Before approving the move, they would also need to have a top-tier replacement in place. Two Premier League clubs and Bayern have made inquiries about the player, some reports suggest.
