The Blues are ready to clash with the Hammers at home in the Premier League.

Chelsea are all set to go head-to-head against West Ham in their upcoming Premier League 2024-25 game at home on February 4. Enzo Maresca’s men were having a good season when they began but eventually started dropping points. The Blues are in the sixth spot in the standings now. West Ham United because of their below-average performances are in the 14th spot in the EPL table.

Chelsea dropped points after they fell prey to Manchester City in their last league game. Noni Madueke scored an early goal to put them ahead but later the Blues were unable to counter Man City’s attack. Enzo Maresca’s men will be looking to stage a proper comeback so that they can at least finish in the Champions League spots for the next season.

West Ham also dropped a couple of points as they fell prey to Aston Villa in their last EPL encounter. They have only been able to win seven games in 23 matches so far. They will have to compete hard so that can end up in the top 10 at least. The Hammers will be away from home which will keep them under pressure for their next clash.

Kick-off:

Tuesday, February 4, 01:30 AM IST

Location: Stamford Bridge, London, England

Form:

Chelsea: D-W-D-W-L

West Ham: L-L-W-L-D

Players to Watch

Cole Palmer (Chelsea)

The English midfielder is once again going to play a crucial role in Chelsea’s upcoming game against West Ham. Cole Palmer will look to help his side score some goals and also outplay opponents in the midfield. Although he has not been on the scoresheet for the last few matches, Palmer will be looking to come back to form.

Danny Ings (West Ham)

The 32-year-old striker should start for the Hammers against Chelsea as he can find spaces between the opposition’s defence and can be a very lethal player. Although he has scored a single goal in 13 Premier League matches for West Ham, the English striker will be looking to add to his tally against the Blues. It will also help him prove to the West Ham supporters that they can rely on him.

Match Facts

  • The Blues have won their last couple of Premier League meetings with the Hammers.
