Top three clubs Alexander Isak can join this summer

The striker has been sought after by many top European clubs.
Alexander Isak has made 30 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring 21 goals and dishing out five assists, including goals against Arsenal in the Premier League and Carabao Cup. Top clubs’ interest has only grown as a result of his outstanding performances.
Newcastle are adamant about holding onto their valued asset and will not allow him to depart without a major struggle. This is despite mounting rumours about his future. If the Magpies are compelled to negotiate, they are anticipated to put a price of approximately ÂŁ150 million on the forward.
Isak’s future may depend on Newcastle’s ability to qualify for the Champions League. We look at the top three clubs he may join in the summer if he decides to leave Newcastle.
3. Barcelona
In an attempt to compete with Arsenal for the striker’s services, Barcelona have made Alexander Isak their top target for the summer transfer season.
According to El Chiringuito, Sweden international Isak is the Catalan team’s top choice to replace Robert Lewandowski, who is 36. The Newcastle attacker has previously stated that he is open to joining after speaking with his representatives.
With Barcelona’s well-publicised financial woes, however, it is unclear how the Spanish giants expect to match Newcastle’s asking price.
2. Liverpool
Among the Reds fans, the prospect of Alexander Isak joining Liverpool is becoming more and more appealing.
Isak’s performance for Newcastle this season has left supporters of the majority of Premier League teams jealous. With a fast-paced brace in a 4-3 victory over Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon, the Swedish striker maintained his incredible campaign and achieved the milestone of 50 Premier League goals in his career.
Isak has drawn interest from a number of teams, including Liverpool, and some of their fans watched the 25-year-old’s game-changing performance against Forest.
1. Arsenal
Over several months, the notion that Arsenal need a new centre forward has grown. The team’s previous home losses to West Ham demonstrated that they require a merciless penalty box finisher to win a Premier League title.
Alexander Isak has reportedly piqued Arsenal’s interest for a long time. Given that he is among the best attackers in the world in terms of worth and might fetch over £150 million, Newcastle do not want to allow their best player to leave so soon.
The Sweden international’s contract with Newcastle will be up in three years, and the team is considering extending it.
