Cole Palmer labels Chelsea exit speculation 'rubbish'

The English forward scored a hat-trick against Wolves.

Cole Palmer has denied rumours that he is dissatisfied at Chelsea and longs to return to Manchester. The Blues striker informed fans that he is not paying attention to the commotion around him after scoring a hat-trick away against Wolves on Saturday.

Palmer called reports of his departure “rubbish”. He maintained that he is content in West London and has no plans to quit the team anytime soon.

Cole Palmer has been the subject of many rumours in recent weeks. With several claiming that the Chelsea attacker is dissatisfied with life in west London and is seeking a return to the north, where he was raised.

Cole Palmer, who grew up in the Manchester City academy and is known to support Manchester United, has been linked to a move to the latter in recent weeks as a possible Bruno Fernandes replacement.

Following the Wolves game, Palmer was eager to allay any rumours. He stated in an interview with BBC’s Match of the Day:

“Everyone loves to chat rubbish, don’t they? I don’t pay too much attention to it. You see things. But I feel like I’ve come from a strong place anyway so I don’t pay attention to it.”

Regardless of the manager he has played under, Cole Palmer has developed into a fantastic football player and an essential member of Chelsea since he switched from the Manchester Blue to the London Blue. After the Blues signed him, he went from being a supporting player to one of the division’s most talented players.
