The English forward’s season has been hindered by constant injuries.

It’s no secret that Cole Palmer, an England forward, was a Red Devils fan as a teenager; rumours that he is unhappy at Chelsea will unavoidably lead to links with Manchester United.

Cole Palmer’s father has long owned an Old Trafford season ticket, and there are rumours that the 23-year-old was named after the great scorer Andy Cole.

Manchester United have seen a lot of change in recent years, and now that INEOS are looking for a new head coach to hire in the summer, the club will also make more additions. Chelsea’s Cole Palmer could be top of their wish list and would also be an ideal replacement for Bruno Fernandes long-term.

Cole Palmer’s future will be the subject of rumours that he is unhappy at Chelsea, but a move to United would rely on whether United are still interested in the player and whether a deal can be completed between the two clubs.

The Sun reports that Palmer misses his Manchester pals and does not particularly appreciate life down south. During his academy years, Palmer was on the verge of joining United, but the Wythenshawe boy advanced through the ranks at City before sealing a transfer to Chelsea.

When Palmer explained why he chose to wear the No. 10 shirt at Chelsea after joining the team, he referred to Wayne Rooney as an “idol.” If Palmer’s situation in London is not resolved by the end of the season, this could be one to watch.

Palmer’s performance has declined this season, but many clubs will still find it alluring to sign Chelsea’s top star. This season, he has made 13 appearances for Chelsea and scored five goals in all competitions.

Is Cole Palmer a childhood United fan?

Yes, he has revealed that he used to support United.

Who was Palmer’s favourite United player?

He said he grew up idolising Wayne Rooney.

How many PL goals has he scored this season?

He has four goals in 12 games in the league.
