The Portuguese player’s Al-Nassr deal will end in 2025 summer.
Cristiano Ronaldo could make a return to the Premier League with Louis Saha stating, “Perhaps a chairman wants to take a chance.”
Ronaldo, a Portuguese superstar, has played for Manchester United twice before. He won the Premier League and Champions League in his first stint there as well as the first of his five Ballons d’Ors. However, his contract was ripped up, ending a second tenure in England in a bitter manner.
There have been rumours of a reunion since Ronaldo’s friend Ruben Amorim is now in charge at Old Trafford. In addition, the all-time great’s record-breaking Al-Nassr contract in the Saudi Pro League is coming to an end. It is scheduled to expire in the summer of 2025.
With the 39-year-old not considering retirement just yet, as he pursues an audacious 1,000 career goals target, speculation about Ronaldo’s future plans is still rampant. It is possible that CR7 may return to England, but there has also been speculation that he could join Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney at Wrexham.
When asked what could happen next by Casino Utan Spelpaus, Ronaldo’s former United teammate Louis Saha responded:
“I don’t know if Ronaldo will come back to the Premier League, because there’s nothing that you can predict with this guy, so it’s hard to know for sure. Who would have said he would have scored that amount of goals by now? This guy is chasing 1000. I don’t know what to say.
“Ronaldo has eyes on the stuff that normal people don’t have. I would still think that whatever he’s got in his mind, he’s capable of doing it because he’s obsessed. Perhaps a chairman wants to take a chance on him. There are still a lot of things that Ronaldo can do – he’s ageing like a fine wine.”
It is anticipated that Ronaldo will consent to a prolonged stay in the Middle East, ending the rumours of a new beginning elsewhere. However, when the time comes for him to hang up his boots, a career route into coaching has been suggested, which may lead him back to the Premier League.
